Ahalya Dance Academy was honoured to perform at the vibrant Edinburgh Diwali celebrations, held at the iconic Ross Bandstand. The performance opened with a powerful rendition of Ardhanareeshwaram, performed by Anoop Menon and Jiji Rajagopal, beautifully portraying the harmonious union of Shiva and Parvati through graceful movement and expressive artistry.
This was followed by a dynamic group performance by Ahalya’s production team, choreographed by Anoop Menon, showcasing precision, coordination, and divine elegance. The choreography reflected the school’s commitment to classical excellence while infusing an energetic festive spirit into the stage.

The costumes, meticulously designed and stitched in-house by Ahalya Dance Academy, captured the attention of the audience with their vibrant colours and intricate detailing, perfectly complementing the performances.

The event was warmly received, earning enthusiastic appreciation from the live audience and receiving wonderful feedback across social media platforms.
